When I received Wanda's basket, it was still early in my diagnosis, so I was completely consumed with questions, fear, and dread. The basket not only cheered me up and gave me some needed uplifting spirit, it truly helped me through the hard times of chemo. I appreciated the hard candy when the IV flush would taste funny in my mouth, I said a little prayer every time I drank out of the "Faith" coffee mug, and I still love wearing the bright, fuzzy pink socks! God bless Wanda and her generous support!

I was 41 years old when I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer November 4th 2010. I have kept a close friendship with a bunch of girls I have known since grade school, so the word got around that I had cancer & I re-connected with another grade school friend. She was going thru a very difficult time in her life, but she took the time to think of me. Her step-mom is Wanda! I received my Breast Cancer survival basket, which is what I would call it, before I even went in for surgery. I was so overwhelmed that somebody, whom I have never met, gave this to me. It had answers to my questions, comfort, love, prayers & encouragement all in it. I then of course had to call Wanda to personally thank her & we talked about cancer & treatments. Getting this basket let me know that this cancer can & will be beat, others have done it & so will I. I am for ever thankful for her thoughtfulness & prayers. Love you Wanda!!
